Hi Everyone,

There is discussion about changing the process of voting in Georgia which includes going back to paper votes and getting new machines. It is critical that we in the blind community have a voice in this process as it will possibly affect our ability to vote independently. We can be involved in this process by attending monthly meetings and giving public comment.

Below is the information regarding the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections board meetings which are held on the second Thursday of each month. The next board meeting will be:

Date: Thursday, January 10, 2019
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor Street, SW, Atlanta GA
Details: http://www.fultoncountyga.gov/rae-board-of-registration-and-elections

These meetings are open to the public and there will be an opportunity for public comment. Please try to attend one of these meetings at your availability.
