Subject: Info on COVID-19 testing
To: McGill, Kay <Kay.McGill at ablegeorgia.ga.gov>

Good afternoon!

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) is increasing the number of
specimen collection sites statewide for COVID-19 testing, and is revising
the current testing criteria to accommodate more testing of Georgia
residents.

Effective immediately, all symptomatic individuals will be eligible for
COVID-19 testing. Health care workers, first responders, law enforcement
and long-term care facility residents and staff will still be prioritized
for testing regardless of whether they are or are not symptomatic.

See attachment for more details.

Thanks,

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
