Privacy Management Accessibility
Would you like to participate in a paid research study to improve the
accessibility of photo applications?
The University of Washington, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and
University of Colorado Boulder are researching ways to design accessible
privacy preserving features in photo applications. We are recruiting blind
people with experience taking photos for this research project. To
participate, please first fill out a screening survey in the following link:
If you meet our recruitment criteria, we will invite you to take part in a
survey study and a 2-hour session where you will try out a
screen-reader-based application for detecting and removing private content
in photos. Each participant will be compensated with a $65 Amazon gift
card. Please feel free to forward this to anyone who you think may be
interested.
Thank you!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
