Good Afternoon

This is information provided by the Georgia Senior Division, for those who
will be attending the state convention in October 2023. Please relay this
information to all that cannot receive this message.

 

In case you are interested.

 

Below is the information if you plan on using the Paratransit in Macon, GA
to inquire about what you need to do in order to ride their Paratransit
while you are in Macon attending the NFB of Georgia State Convention held
the weekend of Friday, October 27, 2023 to Sunday, October 29, 2023.

 

The NFB of Georgia senior Division will be going to lunch at the following
restaurant on Friday, October 27, 2023 leaving the hotel at 11:30 a.m. and
return trip from the restaurant at 1:30 p.m.:

NOTE:

 

#1 Everyone is responsible for paying for your own meal and tip.  If you
decide to purchase another meal to bring back to the hotel for your Friday
dinner, it may be best to order that take-out meal the same time as you get
your lunch but remember we cannot check into the hotel until 4pm.

 

#2  Everyone is responsible for Their own transportation and please get
together a  group of members to travel together via Paratransit or Uber so
we can get as many people to the restaurant together as close around the
same time if possible.

Please call your paratransit service where you live to verify how much time
they require to fax over your proof of transit eligibility before October 20
to the Macon Paratransit.  You can call the Macon Paratransit to see how far
in advance the week of Friday, October 27 you can book your reservation from
the hotel to the restaurant.

ride below:

 

Service hours are from 5:20 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5:20
a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.

Our friendly and knowledgeable dispatch supervisors can answer your
questions and help you with your transportation needs. You can reach them
Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 6:00
a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by calling (478) 803-2521.
