Interesting Fact:
The Football Huddle came from the disability community.

Gallaudet University is credited with inventing the football huddle. In
1894, during a game against another deaf team, the Gallaudet football
team's quarterback, Paul Hubbard, wanted to keep their plays secret from
the opposing team. To achieve this, he asked his teammates to form a tight
circle formation, which is now known as a huddle.

The huddle has since become a common practice in football and is used by
teams all over the world

Today, Gallaudet has the only NCAA football team for people who are
deaf/hard of hearing. The University is in Washington D.C. This school is
now a new innovation that was featured on CBS News last night, a first of
its kind football helmet that can signal to deaf players. It uses AT&T 5G.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
