Good afternoon, ladies, and gentlemen, 

 

we welcome all to our 2023 annual fiftieth state convention of the National
Federation of the Blind of Georgia. Even though we are anticipating over 100
in attendance for this year's convention. We know that all that would like
to participate will not be able to attend in person. 

We would like to present to those that will not be able to attend in person
the option of being able to attend virtually through our zoom portal. Please
be advised that our virtual component will be exclusively designated for
passive listening. We advise that we have put in place stringent protocols
that will be strictly enforced. All participants will remain muted, and a
designated moderator will oversee this process. We kindly request your full
cooperation in adhering to this policy. Any participant found in violation
by unmuting themselves will be disconnected from the conference and will not
be permitted to rejoin.

 

It is imperative to understand that this session is not intended for voting
on Federation business matters. Furthermore, all participants should be
aware that the virtual component will be recorded for record-keeping
purposes.
