6. Meet your point goal by the end of the day on July 31 (and report
your points no later than August 1) for recognition and a chance to win a
grand prize. Everyone who reaches the point goal for their age group will
get their name put in a hat for a random prize drawing. Three age groups
means three grand prize winners.
7. Here are the point goals by age group:
- Adults 18 and over: 50 points.
- Teens 12-17: 30 points.
- Kids 11 and under: 20 points.
Remember:
- One hour of reading equals One Point.
- One GLS or NLS event or activity from our list during June or July
equals One Point.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
