To be sure that you have all the information about our convention, please
read this message in its entirety.

The 52nd state convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Georgia
is open for registration. Our convention is scheduled for October 10 -12,
2025, and will be held at the Crown Plaza Atlanta Midtown, located in
Atlanta Georgia. 

For over 50 years, our affiliate has been committed to changing what it
means to be blind. This year's theme is "In This Together", and we need you
in attendance to keep going strong! We invite you to come and join us for
education, fellowship, and lots of fun, as we continue to help the blind of
Georgia to keep achieving the lives they want.

Convention Registration Options:

Registration only Option:) Attend our convention and learn about our many
resources)

Registration only: $30.00 per Person 

*Note: This option does not include any meals during the entirety of the
convention.

*Note: The convention registration options will include the registration fee
along with lunch and banquet meals on Saturday, October 11, 2025

Pricing:

*Note: Children (5 and under): are free, we will provide them lunch and
dinner on Saturday, October 11, 2025

Children (ages 6 to 13): $50.00 per person

Students (Ages 14 to 24 years old): $75.00 per person

Adults: $130.00 per person

All must be registered in order to participate in the convention, no
exceptions.

The deadline to register is Friday, September 19, 2025.

Friday, October 10th - Seminar Day

Saturday, October 11th - General Session & Banquet Day

Sunday, October 12th - Business Meeting

NFBGA Variety Show:

This year we are hosting what we hope will be our first annual NFBGA Variety
Show, we are inviting you to attend and/or  be a participant. Do you have a
talent you're ready to share with the world? Whether you sing, dance,
perform comedy, spoken word, or a fashionista, or have another unique gift,
we want to see it! Here's your chance to shine and WOW our affiliate at this
year's NFB of Georgia State Convention.

This event will be held on Friday, October 10th from 7:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M.
at a cost of $10.00 per person. This event will also include a dinner meal.

Group Rate:

Our group room rate for singles and doubles is $119.00 plus, taxes of 16%
and a lodging fee of $5 per night per room. The total estimated cost per
night is $143.04. 

Our group room rate for triples and quads is $129.00 plus, taxes of 16% and
a lodging fee of $5 per night per room. The total estimated cost per night
is $154.64. 

*Note: Our room rate includes breakfast for each person that is booked in
the room.

Room types available in our block are singles, doubles, Kings and king
wheelchair accessible. 

*Note: The hotel states that they only have two (2) wheelchair accessible
rooms, that includes a wheelchair roll in shower.

When requesting a king room, please confirm that you are not booking a
wheelchair accessible room with the wheelchair shower, if you do not need
this option. Because the hotel only has two of these rooms, we would like to
make sure that they are given to someone that really needs this requirement.

*Note: All reservations must be made by Friday, September 19, 2025, to
receive our group rate. 

We ask that you act quickly, so that the room you require is available for
booking. These reservations are first come first served, and once the
booking is booked out, we will be subject to only what the hotel can
provide.

*Note: A King suite can only be booked outside of our block, the cost for
this room is $169.00 plus taxes of 16% and a lodging fee of $5 per night per
room. The estimated cost is $198.00 per night.

All reservations must be accompanied by a major credit card. The hotel will
not hold any reservations unless secured by this method. For our convention
attendees, the hotel will not be charging the one-night deposit in advance.
Your credit card will be only used to secure your reservation. 

Upon your check in, the hotel will be authorizing, the full amount of room
and tax for your stay, along with a $75 per day, incidentals hold at the
time of registration.

All reservations are subject to a 40-hour cancellation policy. Failure to
cancel a reservation 48 hours prior to arrival will result in a charge of
one night's room and tax applied to the credit card.

Each person is responsible for making their own room reservation.

*Note: the hotel states that a debit card can be used to reserve your room
as long as the debit card is associated with a major bank or credit union.

*Important Note: Please confirm with your bank that no advance charges will
be applied to your debit card before using this option to make your
reservation.

The hotel offers:

Refrigerator and microwave at a cost of $25 for both that will cover your
entire stay

Complimentary Internet in Guest rooms and Meeting spaces

Self-Parking:

Daily self-parking is provided by a private parking lot vender adjacent to
the hotel, at a cost of $18.00 per 12 hours. After the 12-hour period the
cost goes up to $38.00 which is the daily rate for the parking lot. There is
no in and out with this parking option, the cost applies to each entry to
park.

Valet Parking:

The hotel will offer valet parking at a daily rate of $38.00, for those who
are attending the convention. Please advise the hotel parking employees that
you are attending the Georgia State convention when taking advantage of this
option.

There are many ways and opportunities for you to support the National
Federation of the Blind of Georgia 2025 state Convention by becoming a
sponsor and/or an exhibitor this year. Your participation and/or
contribution will help us to keep providing education and opportunity to the
blind of Georgia through our advocacy efforts and programs. We have provided

convention this year.
