Welcome to the 53rd Georgia State convention, these are some highlights and important information about our State convention.
This year’s theme is “Bridging the gap by honoring the Past While Creating Our Way to the Future”,
Dates: September 4-6, 2026

* Our Hotel block is now closed.
* Our convention hotel offers the following:
Refrigerator and microwave in all rooms
Complimentary Internet in Guest rooms and Meeting spaces
A discount of $15 for the breakfast buffet if you are a guest staying at the hotel
Self-Parking:
The hotel is offering complimentary guest self-parking. If you are staying as a guest in the hotel, please advise the staff upon your arrival and they will apply the free parking to your bill.
If you are only attending the convention on a daily bases and need to park, the hotel is providing a voucher to cover the cost of your parking. You may pick up a voucher at the Affiliate registration table.

We have reached the deadline date for registering for convention, but if you have people that would still like to attend please have them to contact me, or they can just come and pay the registration only cost of $30 upon their arrival.
* If you have attendees that are attending with several children or small children under the age of 13 and they find the pricing of attendance for all a little overwhelming, please have them to call me, and maybe we can work something out.
* 2026 State Convention Schedule:
Friday, September 4th – Seminar Day
Saturday, September 5th – General Session & Banquet Day
Sunday, September 6th – Business Meeting
* State Convention registration Pricing:
In order to participate in the convention activities, all must be registered, no exceptions.
All registration pricing is per person, per registration.
All payments are non-refundable
Registration only: $30.00 per Person (This option does not include meals)
Registration children five and under(include lunch & Banquet): Free
Registration Students ages 6 to 22 (includes lunch & Banquet): $75.00
Registration + Lunch: $85.00
Registration + Banquet: $100.00
Registration + Lunch & Banquet: $130.00
* NFBGA Variety Event:
This year we are hosting again our NFBGA Variety event, we are inviting you to attend. This event will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, admission $20.00 per person.
* If you still need to send in your payment, please do so quickly, this is the information for sending your payments by check to our treasurer.

* We still have a few of our exhibit tables available for purchase. If you know of someone that wishes to be an exhibitor at our convention this year, please advise them that there is still time to purchase one of our tables.
* 2026 NFB of Georgia Exhibitors Information:
Here is your chance to bring your business, company or organization to the attention of the National Federation of the Blind of Georgia by participating as an exhibitor during our state convention.
The exhibit hall will be opened,
Friday, September 4,2026 during the hours of 10:00 A. M. to 10:00 P.M.
Saturday, September 5, 2026 during the hours of 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Our Exhibitor’s pricing is as follows
Table for nonprofit agencies and community partners cost $80.00 each
Tables for new vendors cost $150.00 each
The number of tables are limited, we ask that you do not delay, and book early.
Note for exhibitors:
All exhibitors are responsible for providing any and all items that they will require to dress their table, along with any electrical power cords that may be necessary. If you need a table located near a power outlet, please note that in the comments section of our exhibitor’s form, Your request will be honored on a first requested first granted basis.
