Brad is going to attend a ZOOM meeting, facilitated by the National office, to learn how to use it. Once President Porterfield approves access to the NFBA portal, Brad plans to use ZOOM for Phoenix Chapter meetings in the future.

> Brad reminded attendees that, more than ever, it is important to find innovative ways to fund the movement, at the national level, at the state level, and at the local chapter level. The work of the Federation is ongoing to: support, defend, and protect the social and civil rights of blind Americans; organize and sponsor events that educate the public about the true nature of blindness and the true capabilities of blind people as equals; create and conduct programs and services that afford blind people the opportunity to acquire higher levels of success, using alternative techniques of blindness to compete on terms of equality; plan, organize, and facilitate regular meetings of the membership and friends to share ideas, discuss and resolve issues, renew and establish friendships, strengthen our commitment to live the NFB philosophy, and plan and participate in social events to have fun with our NFB Family. We have been encouraged to contribute a portion of the Federal “Stimulus Payment,” issued to most of us.

>
> Brad searched for Quarantine Karaoke through Facebook on his iPhone, and requested to join the group. Approval is required, because some people were bullying others. Now that Brad is approved to join Quarantine Karaoke, he can watch and listen to posted songs performed by others, and he can post videos of songs he performs live, at home. Brad plays the Karaoke accompaniment of the song from YouTube on his Apple TV device connected to his television, while simultaneously activating the Facebook Quarantine Karaoke live feature on his iPhone, to record and post his performance of the song. Those interested in setting up their own Quarantine Karaoke postings can call Brad at, (815)501-1153, for more details.
