The following message is quite important and I asked each and everyone of you to read it very thoroughly. Thank you Vicki for putting this email together in preparation of the 2021 election for the Phoenix chapter and explanation on how to pay dues.

Active members only need to be voted om once unless their membership dues lapse for three or more consecutive years.

All seven Officer and Board positions will be filled by election, approved by the vote of those dues-paying members, confirmed by Treasurer Donna Silba, during the January 02, 2021, Phoenix Chapter Business Meeting.  Individuals elected, will begin their two-year term at the conclusion of the February, 2021, meeting.

> Each candidate will meet with the Nominating Committee, via virtual platform.  Details will be provided, directly, to those who are being considered for their chosen Board position.  The virtual interview will take no longer than 60 minutes.  after December 05, each candidate will be asked to select three  dates/times (in order of preference), from a list, to schedule their meeting with the Committee.  The virtual meeting will be confirmed 48 (forty-eight) hours prior to the scheduled appointment.  Candidates will be provided additional instructions by the Committee, to prepare for their interview.  The Phoenix Chapter Constitution requires that, a Nominating Committee report be given during the January Business Meeting--one month prior to Elections--including the Slate of Candidates, recommended by the Nominating Committee.

You, and the person nominating you from the floor, must have paid your dues to Donna Silba, in time for them to be deposited into the Phoenix Chapter account, prior to the January 02, 2021, Treasurer’s Report.  Only current, dues-paying Phoenix Chapter members identified by Donna in January, will be eligible to vote, serve on committees, speak on the floor, and hold office, during the February 06, 2021 Business Meeting and Elections.

> Friday, December 18, 2020, is the suggested deadline by which you should have paid your $5.00 Phoenix Chapter 2021 dues to Donna Silba.  This will give Donna the opportunity to include the deposit of dues in her January 02, 2021, Treasurer’s Report, and add your name to the list of Active Members, eligible to participate fully in the February, 2021, Elections.  Please, do not wait until the last minute.  Any dues paid after December 18, 2020, cannot be guaranteed to be deposited in time, due to the holiday crunch, and any transportation or banking restrictions that Donna may encounter.
