The rooms are booked, the food is ordered, the bus is fueled, and the
enthusiasm is building for our 2022 NFB of AZ State Convention. We look
forward to welcoming members in-person September 1 - 4 in Tucson. President
Donald Porterfield and the convention planning team have pulled together a
celebration that will honor the special significance of the 76th annual
State Convention. Do not mis your chance to take part in our movement, our
collective story.

Registration

Did you forget to register for our state convention? Never fear, in-person
registration is here. Beginning September 1, convention attendee hopefuls
can register to attend our 76th Annual State Convention in-person starting
at 4:00 in the lobby.  The theme, Our Movement, Our Collective Story takes
on a new meaning as it honors the first time, we can hold our convention in
person in three exceptionally long years. The registration table will be in
the main lobby of the hotel just past the front desk. All are welcome as we
draft our latest story. 

Registration is also still open online although it is past the deadline to
pay for meals online. You can still book your transportation online, too.
There are still plenty of seats open! If you would like a meal, please let
the Registration table know on Thursday.

 

Transportation details (As sent out a few days ago:

For Sep. 1st's Trip to Tucson, plan on:

12:30 PM: Start Loading up Jet Limo's bus at Phoenix SAAVI, 2920 N. 7th
Street.

12:50 PM: Drive to east valley pickup at Mesa's IHOP, 913 N. Dobson Rd.

1:10 PM: Start loading bus at IHOP, to depart by 1:30.

3:30 PM: Arrive at Tucson Mariott University Park hotel, 880 E. 2nd Street.

To allow for COVID testing prior to bording the bus, people using the
Phoenix pickup location should plan to arrive around 11:30, and people using
the east valley pickup around 12:15.

 

For Sep. 4th's return trip, plan on:

1:00 PM: Start loading up bus at the Tucson Mariott University Park hotel,
880 E. 2nd St

1:30 PM: Leave hotel and head to 1st drop-off at Mesa's IHOP, 913 N. Dobson
Rd

3:30 PM: Estimated arrival at east valley drop-off location at Mesa's IHOP,
913 N. Dobson Rd.

3:50 PM: Continue to 2nd stop at Phoenix SAAVI, 2920 N. 7th St, to arrive
around 4:15 PM.
