Learn how to connect with companies to make products and services accessible, join the National Federation of the Blind in partnership with the Maryland Department of Disabilities for an Advocating for Accessibility Boutique on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time via Zoom.

You’ll learn about what information you need and how to gather it, how to get through to the right department or person at a company, and more. The Advocating for Accessibility Boutique will help you effectively advocate for accessible products and services.

Get involved by sharing your experiences. Washington Seminar kicks off our legislative agenda for the year. We need change in a set of priorities, and your stories will make change—not only now, but throughout the year.

*    Website and Software Accessibility – share your experiences navigating online spaces.

*    Inaccessible Medical Devices – what medical device(s) do you currently use that isn’t accessible, and what is the impact on your life and those of your family and friends?

*    Social Security Disability Insurance – have you held back from advancing your career, due to the fear of losing benefits?
