Greetings Federation Family:

The Phoenix chapter will be celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King JR. Day by
attending the 2024 MLK day March and Festival in Phoenix. The chapter will
have a resource table at the festival and we are inviting you to join us!!!

 

WHAT: 2024 MLK Day March and Festival!

Date: Monday, January 15, 2024 

Times: The march will take place at 9:00 and the festival is from 10:00
a.m-4:00 PM.

What will the Chapter be doing? Members of the chapter are inviting you to
join us at the festival. We will be walking around, just like everyone else.
The resource table that the chapter will have will allow us to interact with
the community. We invite you to stop by and if you are able to sit and help
at the table, then please do!! We will send more specific information about
where our table will be as we find out. 

Directions to the Festival: The festival will take place at Margaret T Hance
Park: 1202 N 3rd ST in Phoenix.

Drop off Directions: If you are taking an Uber or dial-a-ride, the best
address to give for pick up and drop off is the Burton Bar Library Parking
lot. You would simply walk the short distance to the park

Address: 1221 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004

What if I want to take part in the March: The March is 3.2 miles and will
start at 9:00 from  Pilgrim Rest Church and head to Margret T Hance Park, 

The address to the starting location to the March is: 1401 E Jefferson St,
Phoenix, AZ 85034 

Those participating in the march should arrive by 8:45 at the latest.
