[NFBA-Phoenix] East Valley Chapter BEAM activity thank you

*Hello East Valley Family,*

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who joined us for our
recent *BEAM
cane walk activity*! We had a great turnout—13 participants in all,
including East Valley chapter members, as well as parents, students,
siblings, and even a few grandmothers from the *SAAVI Children and Youth
Services* program.

A special shoutout goes to *Ammar and Somaya* for taking the initiative and
organizing this event. As you may recall from the announcement, the group
boarded the *light rail in Tempe* and rode it into *downtown Mesa*,
followed by a short walk to *Main Burgers*, where we enjoyed some good
food, great company, and lively conversation.

Throughout the activity, we saw so many valuable skills in action—proper
cane use, buying and using boarding passes, locating the platform, safely
crossing lighted intersections, ordering and paying for meals, and more. It
was wonderful to see everyone learning, practicing, and supporting one
another.

Thank you again to all who participated and helped make this event such a
success. I’m proud of the teamwork, energy, and community spirit that make
our chapter so special.
