Meeting began at 19:08. President Kuhn led both pledges.

Joe Good led the prayer.

President Kuhn relayed a message from State President Porterfield due to Saturday's overheating.

Secretary Bloomgren gave a report on the picnic from the perspective of the City of Scottsdale. The president indicated that the chapter should vote on the location so that the secretary, who is a Scottsdale resident, can lock down the venue at the beginning of the six-month window. He suggested that the picnic occur on the first Saturday in April, 2019. Ben Bloomgren made a motion to this effect. R.N. Fletcher seconded it. The motion carries.

President Kuhn requested electronic copies of the menu for Carolina's Mexican and Fry Bread Restaurant. Arlen and Jordan will contact local media outlets regarding the fundraiser, including the possibility of takeout.

president Kuhn reminded us about the upcoming Christmas party. he asked for volunteers for the Christmas party committee.

The president called for volunteers for the membership committee, including calling attendees of events afterward in order to better engage with them. Colin Wong, Jordan Moon, Joe Good, Tom Johnson and Teresa Sánchez volunteered to be in the committee. Teresa Sánchez volunteered to chair the committee.

The president discussed an extended 50/50 raffle for Christmas. Catchy names were discussed for purposes of the flyer. The concensus was Phoenix Chapter's Cold Hard Cash 50/50 Raffle. Jordan, Brad and Arlen will work out logistics according to a motion made by Angie Jones and seconded by Ben Bloomgren.

The state affiliate's board meeting is on Saturday, 12 May. The address is:

Do not book paratransit fifteen to thirty minutes after the end of the meeting due to extensions in the meeting's timeline.

A discussion ensued as to the collection of half of all chapters' fundraising revenue by the state affiliate. Chapter members will pose a question at the affiliate's board meeting.
