I will say that a majority of our members are above the age of 25. However, I will also say that I myself love to sing and I am 43 years old. I don’t qualify for the workshop but would love voice training. I could see myself getting on the voice at some point.
The only thing that I do for singing is go to karaoke. I’d love to do more. I will pass this information along though. Thank you.<br class="">

I hope this email finds you well. I am currently working with singer-songwriter Scott MacIntyre to build a music mentoring program for blind and visually impaired people aged 18-25. The program is focused on bringing those with a passion for music into an intimate
3-day music retreat, where they will take part in back to back activities with music mentors/experts from across the U.S.

At the end of the retreat, attendees will get to record a group song which will be released on digital platforms such as Spotify after the retreat, and promoted to Scott’s fanbase as well.

The reason for getting in touch is that being since Scott has been part of the blind and visually impaired community from birth, Scott is incredibly familiar with NFB and the community you serve. He would love to try and get some feedback from you or a coworker
around the program we are setting up and find out if there’s anything we can do to make this more appealing or accessible to those you serve. We would also love to find out if there would be a way for us to work together to bring the information about the
retreat forward to your community. <br class="">

We are still working on our website, but it should be ready to view within the next couple weeks. In the meantime, I am attaching a document here which outlines the retreat. Please do let me know what you think or if you have any questions, again, we would
