<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Happy New Year! I hope everyone is well and staying safe. The year has started off with a lot of legislative changes both federally and within our state. With a new governor comes a lot of new people in every aspect of the legislation.
Even coming down to who to ask to book a room at the State Capitol!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">The elected officials do not take office until January 9<sup>th</sup>. Which is a very short turnaround time for our Phoenix Seminar which will take place on January 17<sup>th</sup>. Because of all the changes at the State Capitol and
because of the success that we had last year with our email campaign, this year’s Phoenix Seminar will consist of two parts. The main part will be an email campaign to all members of the Arizona House of Representatives and Senate. Additionally, there will
be a few in-person meetings with key legislators and policy makers. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Just like last year, we are asking all members to write letters or make phone calls to the offices of your state representative or state senator. A sample letter is attached for your convenience, all you need to do is fill in your specific
information. Please feel free to add a personal message about why these initiatives are important to you personally. Those personal messages are powerful in helping our representatives understand the importance of these initiatives.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing">We will have a Phoenix Seminar Great-Gathering In on Sunday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the three policy initiatives we are asking the Arizona Legislature to consider, and we will provide some guidance on writing letters or making
phone calls. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Our legislative talking points as well as the contact information for every member of the Arizona House (in Word and Excel) are attached in this email. The Senator contact information will be sent out once it is made available (currently
not available on the Arizona Senate’s website!) The Zoom link and phone information will be sent out prior to Sunday’s meeting.<o:p></o:p></p>
