[NFBAZ-EastValleyChapter] East Valley Chapter Meeting This Saturday July 21st With Special Election

Hello Federationists,



We will be holding our chapter meeting this Saturday, July 21st, from
12:30pm to 3pm. We meet at the Pyle Center located at 655 East Southern
Avenue in Tempe, Arizona 85282.



It is important that all East Valley members are in attendance, as we will
be holding a special election to fill board positions. Our nominating
committee chair, Brittany Bomboy is prepared with her report.



All candidates must be in attendance in order to be elected to a board
position.



Board Possitions:



1st Vice

2nd Vice

Treasurer



The nominating committee looked at our remaining East Valley board to move
members up if they were able to fill these positions. They were asked then
to contact members who were interested in sitting in positions.



These board members will have a 4 month term, and will be re-elected at our
November elections.

The East Valley will be holding a fundraiser at Organ Stop Pizza on July
29th, 2018. Come to the meeting to get more information and grab some
flyers!



We have things to do for our state convention this year as well. We need to
come up with a centerpiece idea, so get your creative juices flowing. In
August, we will take some time in our chapter meeting to decorate
centerpieces. We would love to have help from our members from around the
state. Anyone is more than welcome to join us in assembling, and or
donating supplies.



We have an art sale coming up in October. If you are a blind artist, and
you want to show your works, we have an amazing opportunity for you. We
will have a table at the Pyle Center for our Meet the Blind Month activity.



Not only will you be able to show your art, you will be able to sell it!
