Hi I just got this and the gonvenor has just put in a new executive 
order and we cannot have groups more than 50 and if we meet in person 
then the groups wil ahve to be small. As of right now this may be 
modified and clases at the Pile ceter are canceled till further notice.

Tempe closing fitness centers, modifying pool operations in response to 
Gov. Ducey’s executive order
Tempe, AZ – The City of Tempe is canceling and modifying several 
services in response to Governor Ducey’s Executive Order

this afternoon that closed bars, gyms, movie theaters, water parks, and 
provided new guidelines for pools and events. The order was given to 
help slow the spread of COVID-19, which has surged in recent days.

The following changes are effective as of 8 p.m. this evening:


   * Open swim sessions at Kiwanis, Escalante and McClintock pools will 
be canceled tomorrow, Tuesday, June 30. Lap swim will continue at 
McClintock and Kiwanis. Staff will evaluate the feasibility of all swim 
programs moving forward.

   * Fitness centers and gymnasiums at Kiwanis Recreation Center, 
Escalante and North Tempe multi-generational centers are all closed.

   * Indoor exercise classes at all recreation centers are canceled 
until further notice.

Additionally, no events of more than 50 people will be approved by the 
city and all event applications must demonstrate the ability for 
attendees to physically distance.

At this time, Kid Zone and city-operated summer camps will continue to 
operate since they meet the guidelines of 50 people or less and are 
able to physically distance. Face coverings are required at all times, 
temperature checks are taken before entry, and enhanced cleaning 
protocols are in place.

Tempe will continue to evaluate today’s executive order and may make
