[NFBAZ-EastValleyChapter] Calling Our Federation To Help Our Family

Dear Federation,

We have had some shakingly sad news from the Feliz family. Debbie Feliz suddenly without worning left us early, as she must have been  needed in heaven.

Debbie Feliz was very active in the Federation. Even if we didn’t see her around sometimes, we knew she was helping young blind students to know that they can do whatever they want as a blind person. No one was ever treated differently. Debbie Feliz knew that no matter what barriers you thought you had, you could overcome them. If you didn’t realize your potential at that moment, Debbie would wait patiently. She never got angry. She never was upset. She was always ready to help.

Our East Valley chapter would like to start a donation fund for Mark and his family. We realize that any amount of money will not make this pain any better for the Feliz family. However, we would like to help and we feel that giving donations to the family will do just that.

Debbie will be missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, students and her federation family.
