> Wayne has been a member of the NFB since 1998, he joined the NFB while a student at the Colorado Center of the Blind. He served as a Chapter President, Chapter Organizer, and as an Affiliate Board Member of the Colorado affiliate. Wayne currently serves as vice president of the Atlanta Southside Chapter of the Georgia affiliate and also serves as the Membership Chair for the National Senior Division.

> Wayne has a bachelor's Degree in Human Services and Mental Health Counseling from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and is a graduate of Louisiana Technical University where he earned his Master's certification as a Rehabilitation Teacher of the Blind(RTB).
