Dear East Valley Chapter and Friends

Thank you to Joe Sizemore for sending this over to be sent out. It is very important for us to know the One Minute Message and Belief Statement of the National Federation Of The Blind. Therefore, we are sending it out for your review. Each month at the chapter meeting I will pick a member to read the Belief Statement until we can memorise it.

NFB Pledge
I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National Federation of the Blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind; to support the policies and programs of the Federation; and to abide by its constitution. 
NFB One-Minute Message
The Belief Message
The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
