the East Valley Chapter Christmas Party I will be collecting warm socks
and mittens for the homeless shelter. Although this is not an official
chapter function I would like members and friends to have the
opportunity to participate in this warm clothing drive. I will collect
the items at the party and get them to the shelter. So, it’s easy, just
clean out your sock drawer and your mitten box and bring the items that
you are no longer using to the party on Saturday evening. Hope to see

the social misconceptions and stereotypes that exist about blindness. It is not the physical absence of eye sight but it is what society has come to
believe about our blindness. We reject the misconceptions that society has and
