The following outlines what we need to give our new generation that type of encouragement and support they will use to live the lives they want. The NFB Bell Academy will run from May 29 through June 09 in Tucson, and July 24, through August 4 in Phoenix, and will take place week days from 8:00-4:30 including before and after care. Currently we need, mentors who can commit their time daily to demonstrating high expectations through reading and writing Braille, using access technology, playing interactive games and sports, and performing all manner of household tasks. If you are interested in a paid mentor position, please send résumés to <a href="mailto:aporterfield@saavi.us">aporterfield@saavi.us</a>. If you would like to volunteer an hour, day, or provide any type of contribution, please send me an e-mail at <a href="mailto:aporterfield@saavi.us">aporterfield@saavi.us</a>.
