It was great to see new students learning how to talk with their legislators. We had many groups of many different people going to many different senators and representatives in all the districts around Arizona. We were able to accomplish amazing things that day.</div><div><br></div><div>I was so happy to see some of you there. Next year, we all need to ban together and go. It would be great to have a big group of us there.</div><div><br></div><div>As you can see the things that we were asking for or relevant, and it was easy for our senators and representatives to see our side of the coin. We put them in our shoes. We got pictures and our East Valley chapter member DANIELLE JONES was able to get media to come from KTAR to do a story about what we were doing. I am so proud of that. I\u2019m very proud of our East Valley Chapter for what we accomplished that day. momentum to ensure older blind Arizonans have the resources and services they
deserve.</span><br>

qualifications for teaching blind students across Arizona, strengthening access
to quality instruction.</span><br>

as exempt from being considered places of public accommodation. Accessibility
matters and we\u2019re pushing forward.</span><br>

<span style="background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">We also dropped off advocacy packets, and many NFB
members registered with the State of Arizona so they can request to speak on
our bills if needed. That\u2019s how you build power: prepared, present, and
persistent.</span><br>

start. Now we keep showing up, keep educating, and keep pushing until these

Request to Speak system so you\u2019re ready when hearings happen. Even clicking

ready to take action when we send alerts. Numbers move decisions.</span><br>

than one day at the Capitol. We are building a future where blind Arizonans
