The motion carried. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Treasurer’s Report: Beginning balance: $747.95 <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Ending balance: $888.87 <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Presidential Release: Every month, our National President Mark Riccobono provides the membership with an update on the projects and initiatives that we are working on through out the nation. (As a side not, ever since we have been dealing with Covid 19) The Presidential releases have been live on the Zoom platform. Everyone is strongly encouraged to join these meetings. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>National Convention: The National convention will be held from July 14-July 19 via the Zoom platform. Registration is free, and the last day to register is June 15. Go to <a href="http://www.nfb.org/convention">www.nfb.org/convention</a> for more information and to register. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Business: President Gaten asked the membership to think about what types of extracurricular activities they would like to participate in outside of chapter meetings. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>NFB Philosophy: President Gaten asked the membership if anyone would like to share their story, on how they found The National Federation of the Blind. Lynda Judith shared her story. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Adjournment: A motion was made by Carmen and seconded by Isabel to adjourn the meeting at 8:30PM.
