Hi Angela.
I don't know
when this was first determined but during the march in New York City which
I watched on the internet they had all ready decided to come To California.
The gentleman doing the broadcast was talking about it happening "later in
the month.'" He didn't give other details. If you go to the reading rights
coalition page I think they have the video of the march so you can perhaps
hear what the speakers actually said. The net cast didn't broadcast the
speakers.
So, the California event was planned most likely last month at the latest.
I don't know why It didn't filter down to the affiliate.
With 30 organizations involved I'll be surprised if quite a few people
don't turn up a couple hundred anyway some NFB people from other states
perhaps maybe a good number of ACB people a nd I don't know how the other
organizations will do.
More protests or informational pickets are suposed to occurr in other places
not sure where.
