Hey everyone,

Paralympics Sports Sacramento and Joe Hamilton,

Proudly invite you to participate in the return of Riverbat Goalball.
Beginning Saturday Feb 7 and continuing every Saturday until May 23rd.

Practices will be held At California State University, Yosemite hall room
183.

>From 1-4:00 PM.

If you have never been exposed to Goalball, come and check it out. All are
invited to play or just support the team.

Please pass this along to any and all clients you think would be
interested in a sport designed specifically for blind and low vision people.

Health and wellness are extremely important and the skills and confidence
you can glean from sports can transfer to the classroom or the work place.

I am very excited to be a part of the return of Goalball to the river City!

            What is Goalball?

Goalball is a sport designed specifically for blind and low vision athletes.
Invented in Europe following WWII. The founders wanted a game to build
skills and confidence amongst Blinded war veterans.

Goalball was introduced in America in 1976. It is played in 85 countries
around the world and it is the only team sport for the blind recognized by
the international Paralympics committee. Also, it is the only sport that
was designed specifically for our demographic.

If you or any of your clients have questions, please get them in touch with
me.

All are welcome to get in this game!
