Yippy hurray! my speakers are here.  This is my first on line purchase. 
Does the equalizer go between the speakers and the receiver or does it 
connect directly with the receiver as an adjunct?  I'd better read the 
directions. My old speakers are going to be the front speakers for the home 
theater.  That way, I can eliminate the need for a subwoofer. I feel like a 
character in a loony-tune about ready to get his come-upence.  I'd better be
