Hi Mary,

Society for the Blind in  Sacramento works with tribes in northern
California -- perhaps you might want to talk to Michelle Miller or Priscilla
Yeung about the kinds of programs they are all ready conducting with blind
native Americans.  

There is, as I'm sure you know, a specific RSA funded federal grant program
for American Indian VR services -- they are called 121 grants, and there are
some 68 of them around the country.  I think California has four of them.

there are some reservations in various parts of Riverside County as well as
in other parts of southern california. I may have a partial list somewhere
or at least its a list of the tribes that have been involved in Indian
gaming and have casinos.
