Hello All:

I am pleased to announce that you can follow the link below to apply for a
grant to the national convention in Orlando, Florida. The national
convention will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort from July 3
through 8, 2011. There are two categories of grants available. They are:
1. "Radcliff" Grants ($750.00) are made available to persons who are
attending a national convention for the first time. Francis Radcliff
established this grant with the hope and knowledge that if someone was given
the opportunity to see the National Federation of the Blind in action, they
would make every effort to get to subsequent conventions.

2. "NFBC" ($500.00) or affiliate grants are made available to members who
have demonstrated leadership in the affiliate. Anyone who is a member in
good standing can check this category.

The deadline for applying is May 14,2011. The Board of Directors will meet
and decide on the worthy recipients on the 15th and winners will be notified
shortly thereafter.

The following is the link to our six dots website where you can find the
application forms.
