Hello fellow Californians,
    Probably one of the most exciting events which the NFB regularly engages
in is the bye-annual Youth Slam. Here over 100 youth from across the country
meet in Baltimore to study hands on many science-related disciplines which
are often thought to be out of a blind person's reach by mainstream society.

    Our next membership call will be a review of the 2011 Youth Slam, with
mentors, instructors and students sharing their experiences.
