Hi NFB-Cal'ers,
We just got our first "Scramble" crossing along the coast of Northern
San Diego County. (That's an all-stop for vehicles, no right on red,
and pedestrians can cross any which way, including diagonal.
As an afterthought, the city traffic people asked the Beach Cities
Chapter for input on how to change their Audible Pedestrian Signals.
How do y'all do it in the big cities?
What do your gadgets usually say or do?
I used them in New Zealand and Australia, but was cruising around
with locals.
Thanks for your input!
Fred Chambers
