This does sound scary.  Crossing any which way all at once?  Hmmmm.  I
suggest someone contact Mark Riccobono at the Jernigan Institute.  Mark
would know about any relevant technology.

this sounds like an accident waiting to happen. For those of us who were
trained in mobility before audible devices this sounds like a potential
disaster. I'm not familiar with this concept. This sounds about as bad as
roundabouts for pedestrians.
