Yes I agree, even the self check out stands at Safeway and the
modernization of the check out stands that are not self check out, have
touch screens, but unlike the IProducts Apple produces, they don't have
tactile markings, I mean audible feed back, though you can provide
tactile feedback via those bump dots or whatever speeddots.com sells
I've seen them they are screen protectors that have tactile overlays
very cool indeed, but it is not likely going to happen that even
checkout stands will be accomodating, which is why I usually have
someone I trust to go to the store with me to tell them my password,
since I don't like to sign, I use debit, though now it is getting
impossible to sign even on the touch screen if the store only takes
credit instead because the signing has to be done on the touch screen. I
personally have a hard time signing on a touch screen.

We need to address issues like this because if we don't they will become more prevalent. I'm still having trouble with Fresh and Easy's web site and have not been able to register to receive their discounts or read about their specials on their web site due to all of the graphic content. I have also brought these issues to the attention of the store manager at the one I shop at and he was going to address their management but I haven't been there in a while.
