California Certified Accessibility Specialists, Inc. is pleased to announce the industry’s most comprehensive and only disabled access academy specifically designed for those pursuing a thorough understanding of State and Federal Access laws, codes and regulations or studying for the Certified Access Specialist (CASp) Examination!

Four full days of engaging and practical disabled access training that will cover all of the recommended study areas listed by DSA for the CASp examination. The CalCasp Academy qualifies for continued education with the California Architects Board (CAB) for License renewal.

Advanced Scoping Class February 27th 2013.

CalCasp will be offering a one day Advanced Scoping class in Sacramento Ca at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  This class will be designed for CASp's, Architects, Engineers, Plans Examiners, Inspectors, Designers and other professionals that are well versed and experienced with the various regulations, codes and standards associated with access compliance in California. This will also be a great opportunity to get your required CEU's for CASp renewal. Please email Paul Klein at pklein at calcasp.com  or Mark Wood at mwood at calcasp.com  to be notified when registration is open.

DSA Announces 2013 CASp Examination Dates

DSA announced the 2013 CASp examination dates.

Exam dates: 

February 13th 2013

June 12th 2013

October 16th 2013

Exam location for Northern California: Sunrise Event Center, 11167 Trade Center Drive, Rancho Cordova, Ca 95670 916-635-2016 Exam hours: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

Exam location for Southern California: City of Hawthorne, Hawthorne Memorial Center, 3901 W El Segundo Blvd, Hawthorne, CA 90250  Phone number: (310) 349-1640  Exam time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Exam registrations are now open: 

The February examination is now open, but will close at 5 p.m., January 18, 2013.

The June exam is now open, but will close at 5 p.m., May 17, 2013.

The October exam is now open, but will close at 5 p.m., September 20, 2013
