Subject:     Re-designation of Client Assistance Program Services in
California

Governor Brown has released an official notification of his intent to
re-designate the agency responsible for providing Client Assistance Program
services in California.  The letter and Notice of Intent to Re-designate can
be found on the Department of Rehabilitation website at

Prior to submitting a re-designation to the U.S. Department of Education,
Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services, the Governor will
consider all public comment on the proposal.

Interested parties may submit written comments on the proposed
re-designation through Monday, August 12, 2013.  Oral comments may be
offered at the public hearing on July 23, 2013 between 1-4 p.m.  To submit
comments or to request accommodations to participate in the hearing, please
