Hi Lauren,

This is a very good idea.  Amazon has an affiliate program as well in which
any purchases made after arriving at Amazon through a dedicated link are
credited to an affiliate account.  The affiliate gets a percentage of all
purchases made on Amazon through that link.  Just think how easy it would be
to encourage all within our networks to first click through the affiliate
link to Amazon before buying anything on the site.

Here is a fundraising idea I got from another list. I buy stuff from amazon
all the time. It would be neat if proceeds went to the NFBW.

http://smile.amazon.com/ is a website through amazon where you can buy
products and they will donate a portion to the charity of your choice.  The
NFB and the NFB OF Minnesota are signed up.  Maybe NFBC SHOULD SIGN UP.  No
matter what we think about the kindle many of us buy things through Amazon.
