It is included, but where most stores allow IGive to track the money
individuals raised for their causes, Amazon does not. All donations raised
through Amazon are anonymous.

Hi,
I think that when I was looking at the info on the I Give site, it said
amazon.com was not included??? That is what I thought it said but I could
very well be incorrect about that. It might be the case for a special
promotion, not for everyday use???
I hope this button works with Jaws.
Thanks
Lauren

Hello folks,
It is awesome to see all of this discussion of fund raising!
After I created the IGive account for Accessible Science it was asked of me:
"Why the heck haven't you created one for NFBC?" So I did! The link to sign
up and become an NFBC IGive supporter is:
<http://www.iGive.com/NationalFederationoftheBlindofCalifornia>
http://www.iGive.com/NationalFederationoftheBlindofCalifornia
When you click the above link, you will be directed to a sign-up page.
Create your IGive account, only minimal information is required. After you
have created your account, you have two choices. You can install the IGive
button, which automatically tracks your purchases and allocates the
appropriate donations. Or, if you would rather avoid the whole automatic
tracking thing, you can link to the participating stores through the IGive
web site, you just have to remember to do that.
There are over 1300 stores which participate in the IGive
program. A few popular ones are Amazon, Priceline, Cheap Tickets,
Safeway.com, Overstock.com, 1800-flowers.com, and a bunch more I'm not
thinking of. You can also purchase gift certificates to a number of
department stores. Donation percentages range from as low as 0.4 percent to
as high as 20%, with most stores donating in the 2 to 5 percent range.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. Have
fun, and happy shopping.
Angela
