 Armando, we have a Chapter located in Redding CA, The "Shasta Cascade
Chapter". We meet every second Saturday of the month at ten AM. at the
County Library. You are more than welcome to join us.
This month our meeting is going to be held on the 16th, because the 9th was
going to be hard for all to attend.
We are also having a informational meeting for new-comers which we
advertised in our local news paper, and on our local television channel.
This meeting will be held at the Roundtable at the MT. Shasta mall. It will
be held on the 18th at 6PM.

Hello, I would love to attend the seminar but do not know anyone locally
whom I can go along with. I am capable of traveling, since I am very well
versed with Amtrak. In addition, finances are a bit tight and the cost of
hotels are not cheap in the bay. Any suggestions would very much be
appreciated and I hope to be able to contribute soon.

Welcome to the list.  If you want to learn more about the National
Federation of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind of
California, and if you have a way to get to San Francisco on August 24, we
are holding a seminar on that day to introduce more people in the San
Francisco area to the Federation.  You would be most welcome to attend.

My name is Armando Maldonado, I'm from corning, CA north of Sacramento. I am
