The credit goes to all the members of the River city Chapter for banding together and putting on such a wonderful event.

I hope to see lots of new faces at our third annual hair in the wind Day next year

River City Chapter holds its Second Annual Hair in the Wind Fundraising Event

The River City Chapter's Hair in the Wind Fundraising Event was a fun filled success. The second annual event was held Saturday, May 17th and exceeded fund raising expectations. This year's event was dedicated to the late Michael Couey who was an esteemed member of the River City Chapter and was very excited about holding the event. The Lyons Club, the Sacramento Miata Club and the Society for the Blind joined the River City Chapter in offering rides in convertible cars, motor cycle rides and tandem bike rides to members of the chapter as well as guests. Cars included a variety of Miata's, a 1957 Thunderbird and a Gold Wing motorcycle. Other activities at the event included chair massages, raffles for prizes and a lunch of tri-tip and grilled chicken sandwiches, chips, drinks and desserts. Thank you to all that participated and helped, we look forward to seeing you again along with any new faces that would like to join in next year's festivities.
