Hello All,

On Saturday May 17th the River City Chapter held its 2nd Annual Hair in the
Wind fundraiser at the Society for the Blind in downtown Sacramento.
Saturday morning started out a little nippy but Mother nature came through
and gave us a perfect and marvelous day for a ride in a convertible!
Everyone who went for a ride loved this years route. The ride was 30
minutes long with more time on the freeway so you could truly enjoy the
title of our event, "Hair in the Wind". You felt the wind hit your face as
we sped along the freeway. It was so much fun!

In the parking lot of the Society for the Blind there was great food;
smoked Tri Tip & Chicken sandwiches, chips, water and homemade cookies for
folks to enjoy. Everyone raved over the Tri Tip & Chicken which was
prepared by Bruce Reed, a member of the chapter. We then had the
opportunity to socialize with everyone from the various groups, River City
chapter, Society for the Blind, Lions Club, Miata Car club.

You could not of asked for a better day of fun and fellowship! I look
forward to next years event and hope you will join us!
