May 2015 Bulletin

 

Dear Fellow Federationists,

I start this May Bulletin with our new branding.  The following is the
essence of the 75 years of love, hope and determination.  Commit it to
memory.  It will get you through all kinds of situations.

Hair in the Wind

Join the River city Chapter as we honor Ralph Gingrich in our third annual
Hair in the wind Fundraising event

Take a spin in a hot little spirts car

Come out and join a free thirty minute ride in a convertible

The river city chapter of the National Federation of the blind of California
will have available to purchase, Tri- tip and chicken sandwiches, chips and
beverages. The suggested donation is Ten dollars.

 

First annual Senior Division Seminar

 

The National Federation of the Blind of California, Senior Division

Knowledge, information and methods for living with blindness.

Door prizes and lots of fun

It will be held in conjunction with the Hair in the Wind fundraising event.

The National Braille Press presents a spelling dictionary with fourteen
hundred words written in large print/ uncontracted braille/uncontracted
braille. This one volume resource is written for elementary level writers.
