Is there someplace near where the bus for the conference will pick you up that you can stay at the night before?
That way you can avoid missing the bus?

May I please ask you to pray for me? I am going to the convention of the national federation of the blind of California. On October 29- November 1st. My biggest obstacle, and fear is that I will miss the bus at the senior center. You see, where I live is 2 miles from an RTA fixed route bus zone, and Rta dial a ride vehicles can only travel 3/4 miles from an Rta bus stop. This is why whenever I want to go to riverside I must take a corona dial a ride vehicle to an Rta dial a ride vehicle. Now, the earliest corona dial a ride runs is 6:42 am to 7:12. Which means that the earliest pick up I can't get on Rta dial a ride would be a 7:17 to 7:47 am. Which means, that. I could get there by 8 am if the system works flawlessly, and impeccably. That is my prayer, and I would like or you to hope, and pray for the same thing too. Unfortunately, the last two times that I have had to go into riverside have been anything but smooth as on September 10, when I was coming home from the movies. It
took 2 hours and 23 minutes to get to McDonald's which is where I meet corona dial a ride. I missed my original dial a ride vehicle. I had to call for another one. Another 1 did pick me up. Then yesterday, I missed half of Braille club, because the RTA dial a ride was 2 hours late. I had an 8:30 to 9 am pick up, and RTA dial a ride did not show up until 11:02 amS. Now one solution to the problem is not happening until next year, sometime. That solution is to have the corona cruiser tpick me up at Ralph's which is just a mile from my house, and ake me into the RTA area.esnt from my iPhone
