Hi Rob,
I think you should just let them know that you have your own transportation covered. No need to explain anything else to them. Remember the old "Dragnet" TV show line "just the facts Sir".

Warmly, Joy

Subject: [Nfbc-info] Procedure

Good evening all: Tomorrow afternoon I am having an eppadurral done @ a surgery center here in Victorville. When they asked me if someone will be driving me home, I told them that I would be using pera transit. They told me that since pera transit is not a medical transport system, they won’t allow that. The center is 2 miles away, & a taxi costs $20 to go 2 miles. Is there anyway around this issue?
