Hello All:

I am writing this message to all of you because I want to make sure that you
have a copy of the convention flyer.  Please copy and distribute widely.

 

I want to let you know that there maybe some confusion with the hotel when
making your reservations.  Don't panic.  I am working on extending the room
block for Thursday, October 29.  Currently, we have exhausted all of the
rooms in our block.  I am negotiating with the hotel to give us more rooms.
There are many, many people that I can think of who do not have a room yet.
Especially those in the north who are thinking that they will ride the bus.


 

If you know of people who cannot get a room at our convention rates please
let me know ASAP.  

 

If you know of people who have not registered because they do not have a
room yet and therefore cannot get a seat on the bus, just tell them to
register anyway by using the confirmation number 4628575.

We will clear it up ASAP.  So far there are only 6 people signed up for the
northern Cal bus.  That is not enough to justify a contract.  All they have
to do is purchase registration for $20 and check the box for the bus.  

 

I will update you as this evolves.
