[Nfbc-info] response from Uber

Hi,

 

A few days ago I posted about challenges with the Uber app's request button
not always appearing at the bottom of the page. I also mentioned that I'm
noticing some correlations; the button not appearing and then appearing once
surge pricing has kicked in. Half a dozen emails later I received a message
from Uber acknowledging the issue with the request button. Please, if you
are noticing that the request button does not always appear or voiceover
doesn't announce "request button", please email Uber Support. 

 

Here's the response I received regarding the issue with the request button.

Hi Lisa,

Katrina here, stepping in for my colleague. Sorry to hear about the trouble
regarding with your app. I've felt your frustration and I want to sort this
out for you.

Our Engineering Team is aware of this issue and we're working hard to
resolve it as quickly as we can. Know that your patience on this is highly
regarded.

Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Rest
assured that we will reach out as soon there is an update.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can help with and we'd be
glad to assist."
