Subject: Redbox kiosks in California
Thank you for your interest in ensuring that Redbox kiosks are accessible to
the blind. Because of the existing settlement agreement

-settlement-agreement/>
between Redbox and Lighthouse for the Blind, specific to Redbox kiosks in
California, the NFB will not be able to engage California residents in our
efforts towards ensuring access in the remaining forty-nine states. I was
surprised by how many NFB of California members contacted me regarding
Redbox. Please share your Redbox experiences and concerns directly with
Stuart Seaborn or Michelle Ioria at Disability Rights Advocates, the firm
that represented Lighthouse for the Blind. Stuart can be reach at
sseaborn at dralegal.org <mailto:sseaborn at dralegal.org> and Michelle at
miorio at dralegal.org <mailto:miorio at dralegal.org> .
Sincerely,
Valerie

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
Make a gift to the National Federation of the Blind and help ensure all
blind Americans live the lives they want.
