[Nfbc-info] Nfbc-info Digest, Vol 132, Issue 16

Wow, Jesus, prices for laundry have soared since I used to live on my own in 2002. I am just remarking on what one of my listers said. $6 per load that's rediculous. Too bad your apartment complex does not use technology like that used at Wells Fargo automatic teller machines. Where I can walk up to the automatic teller machine, and insert my card, and it says, "Welcome to Wells Fargo." It asks me for my ATM pin, and I enter it. It guides me through the prompts speaking to me every step. You'd think they could implement or invent something similar to that where you plug in headphones and a screen reader I like Jaws comes on and says welcome to wave vision. What I believe that companies are liable legally to let blind people know about prices in pricing information I mean employers are liable and they have to provide accommodations to the same old like I heard that all employers and companies must test blind people based on their ability instead of their disability and provide reasonable accommodation I think it should be the same for companies to let wave vision I feel must be required to provide adequate accommodation and let blind people know about their prices

One suggestion that I have in regards to accessing the amount various wash prices is to use the app on your phone called "BeMyEyes." That's if you have access to a iPhone. This app has assisted me in the past with several digital devices that do not have voice output. I'm wondering if at the next state convention a resolution could be drafted to address commercial appliances that are installed in public facilities such as apartments and/or public vending machines. Just a thought initiate a change for all.
